CardStar

I’ve said this before and I am going to say it again: I don’t particularly like to part with my hard earned money. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some kind of Scrooge who clings on to every penny, it’s just that when I see a way to save some money, I go for it.

With that out of the way, but still fresh in mind, I have to say that the CardStar app scored two big points in my book right off the bat. It got the first one because it is offered free of charge. I always like it when I can get much needed functionality and I don’t have to part with my hard earned money. And it got the second point because of its functionality – because of what it does, this app can save you money. And I thing you know by now that I’m more than glad to save a few bucks.

What does the app do, you ask? By using this app you can discover and redeem coupons, offers and promotions for various retailers and brands. Instead of carrying a whole bunch of reward cards with you, which trust me can be a big pain in the unmentionables, you can simply use the CardStar app. Once you input your customer loyalty card, the app turns it into a scannable redemption card. The app will send you coupons for all your cards in your card library.

The CardStar app scored another point in my book for being fairly straightforward to use. I’m sure that no one likes to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to an app. Luckily, this is not the case here as the CardStar app is quite easy to use.
